Pick Your Health Insurance Plan
Open enrollment for under 65 persons runs from November 1st through January 31st in some States like California. However, you may qualify for enrollment outside of those dates with special circumstances like losing Group Health Insurance.

- There are 4 metal categories: These health insurance plan categories – Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. These categories show you how you and your plan share costs.
- Your total costs for health care: You pay a monthly bill called premium. As you receive care you will also pay co-pays, possibly co-insurance and sometimes a deductible.
- There are various plan and network types. Options are HMO's, PPO's, POS's, and EPO's : HMO's require you to have a Primary Care Doctor, while EPO's and PPO's do not. HMO's and EPO's only cover you when you use in network doctors.
