Selecting My Health Insurance Coverage
First thing to outline is that picking Insurance is about what is right for you.
When we are looking at coverage, there are a lot of things that jump out at us but what really grabs us is the premium, co-pay and deductible. But is that enough?
Some additional questions you should ask;
- Are my doctors and hospitals in network
- Should I select a PPO type plan, a hybrid EPO or more a managed care plan like an HMO
- Is a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum plan right for me
- Should my family stay on the same plan or should we split our coverage
- Do I qualify for Tax Credits through the Health Exchange
- What is my penalty for not having Coverage

- Select getting a quote for all the plans available in your Zip Code
- Put in your information
- Check to see if your doctors are in network

- Compare the Summary of Benefits to see which plans best meet your goals.
